The hotel is to be found in the heart of Bilbao’s metropolitan area, in the historic centre of the distinguished town of Portugalete, within a short distance from the peaceful colonnade called the Muelle Churruca. The central part of the city is easily reached by train (one passes every four minutes) or underground (the nearest station is only seven minutes walk). The visitor can be in the city centre within fifteen minutes.

The residential district of Getxo and Neguri, known for holiday visits, can be reached within two minutes.

The airport is only twelve kms. away, and the port only two, while the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) is 6 kms. distant and easily accessible by the underground.

The privileged position of the hotel makes it ideal for:

• Business visits to the city for those who prefer to stay a little distance from the hubbub of the city centre, but still maintaining good quality and cost.
• Holiday visits.

How to get there using public transport from the airport (if needed)

Our establishment is perfectly accessible from the Bilbao Airport at Loiu, known as La Paloma.

• Bus: The Bus from the airport is the No. A3247 Bizkaibus. It leaves the terminal every 30 minutes. It is comfortable and fast, with plenty of room for baggage. It takes 20-25 minutes. You get out at the last stop, which is San Mamés, and from there take the underground to Portugalete, where the stop is only 500 metres from the hotel.
• Taxi: Easily taken at the airport, the cost of the journey is approx. €20 – 25 and it takes between 15 and 20 minutes.

• Potugalete: Train stop which communicates with Bilbao city centre. Only 3 minutes from the hotel.
